For the 2015 model year, Ford redesigned the midsize Edge crossover from the ground up. Although occasionally eclipsed by its younger and older siblings, the Escape and Explorer, this redesign brought the middle child of the Blue Oval's crossover stable to the forefront of driver's minds. With summer just around the corner and spring in full swing, now is the time of year when many turn their minds toward the environment. In fact, Ford announced today that it is making strides toward cleaning up the atmosphere by using carbon dioxide emissions to create usable plastics for its vehicles.

This past Friday, Ford issued a press release announcing that more than 10,800 people showed interest in buying the all-new Ford GT supercar during the automakers initial one-month application period. When the window finally closed, Ford received 6,506 fully completed applications from people around the world. The number of applicants jumped more than 30 percent in the final six days.
